Detailed Application of Polyacrylamide-PAM:
It is a easily water- soluble high polymer, which is widely used in petroleum, paper-making, metallurgical, textile, chemical and environment protection fields for water treatment.

1. One of the largest uses for polyacrylamide is to flocculate solids in a liquid. As a flocculating agent, mainly used in industrial solid-liquid separation process, including settlement, to clarify, concentrate and sludge dewatering processes, applications for all the major sectors are: drinking water purification, urban sewage treatment, food processing, petrochemical, metallurgical, processing, dyeing and the sugar and all kinds of industrial wastewater treatment.
Another common use of polyacrylamide and its derivatives is in subsurface applications such as enhanced Oil Recovery.
2. In the paper industry can be as dry strength agents, retention agents, filter aids, can be greatly improved as paper quality, enhance the physical strength of paper and reduce the loss of fiber or filler to accelerate the treatment, since enhanced retention to help filter effect.
3. The anionic form of cross-linked polyacrylamide is frequently used as a soil conditioner on farm land and construction sites for erosion control, in order to protect the water quality of nearby rivers and streams.
4. Polyacrylamide is often used in molecular biology applications as a medium for electrophoresis of proteins and nucleic acids in a technique known as PAGE.

Soil Conditioner function:
The primary functions of Polyacrylamide Soil Conditioners are to increase soil tilth, aeration, and porosity and reduce compaction, dustiness and water run-off.
Secondary functions are to increase plant vigor, color, appearance, rooting depth and emergence of seeds while decreasing water requirements, diseases, erosion and maintenance expenses.

Usage directions and cautions:
1. The using concentration of the micro solutions of CPAM and ACPAM is 0.1-o.3%, about APAM and NPAM is 0.05-0.3%;
2. When makes up dilute solution, try best to use neutral water at the temperature about 50-60℃, and use non-metal container.
3. When used as paper-making additive agent, it is between 100-300 PPM.
4. When used as flocculation agent it is necessary to select type and size of PAM series products according to PH value of treated substance.

a. Anionic PAM is suitable for higher density, inorganic suspension substance with positive charge and PH value is neutral of basic solution with thick suspension particles 1mm-10mm.
b. Cationic PAM is suitable for suspension solution with negative charge and containing organic substance.
c. Nonionic PAM is suitable for separating mixed organic and inorganic suspension, the solution is neutral or acid.

Packing and Storage:
Packaged into 25kg woven bag with PE air-tight inner bag, lined. 40bags per pallet, and 20Mt in one container.
Stored in a cool, dry container or warehouse without sun exposure. Temperature should be less than 35℃.
